Bio
Deanne brings a solid academic background and more than a decade of classroom experience in elementary and special education to her role as a First Grade teacher. She strives to have an inviting and exciting classroom with a curriculum that instills an age-appropriate level of responsibility in her students. Deanne is works to encourage relationships between women from St. Paul congregation and her first graders by inviting them in once a month to listen to first graders read to them in groups of 2-3 people. Being able to bring the Word of God into the curriculum at any point of the day is exciting and uplifting. Deanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a LD (learning disabilities) minor from UW-Stevens Point. Deanne has furthered her education by participating in a Smart Board, reading, classroom management, Excel, and several religion graduate courses.
Her interests include spending time with her family, gardening and spending time outdoors, watching the Brewers, traveling, singing and playing the piano, and learning to play the guitar.
