MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Wow, this week flew! It is such a joy and pleasure to celebrate Jesus' birth with the students all week long. It enriches my Christmas season!

This past week: We read one of my favorite author, Laura Ingalls Wilder. We learned about the time of the pioneers. We also read Keep up Your Courage Sarah Noble, which was a Historical Fiction story about settling Conneticut. |

"Stuff the Stocking" Sock Drive: For the month of December, our Lutheran Junior Honor Association students will be hosting a sock collection to be donated to Bob's Under the Bridge. An announcement was made to the school in chapel on Wednesday. The collection will be held from Wednesday December 4th through Wednesday December 18th. They will be collecting new pairs of socks. Our school goal is to collect 850 pairs of brand-new socks! Thanks for all of the socks donated already!! OUR GRADE IS NUMBER 1! Keep them COMING! UPDATE: WE CAME IN SECOND!! WAY TO GO FAMILIES!
