This week was a fun week full of new content. We worked in groups, practiced skills with new games, and worked hard on showing Christ-like character. This group of kids is rocking their fourth grade year!

As we look at this coming week, we have MAP testing again. Please know the kids are working hard and are taking extra breaks to keep them focused and engaged. Yes, there will likely be more homework. Yes there is a math test on Thursday and a spelling test again on Friday. We have reviewed plenty and I am confident they will be successful. 

Remember, STARBUCKS MODE FRIDAY means your child CAN have an afternoon snack of fruits/veggies/or a smoothie. I would like to limit the options and keep it healthy. Thank you for continuing to build healthy habits with your child. This is just one way to make the fourth grade a little extra special.

Memory work: 

Tues: 1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.

Fri: Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

This weekend is another perfect opportunity to set yourself up for successful worship and a blessed school year. I understand travel plans may be on your schedule, but please remember about worship. It is critical to your eternity and important for you and your family’s spiritual growth. I would love to have the honor of worshiping alongside you and your family.
