Week of November 11th
Today was an honor. We were graced by heroes and their families who trusted God’s plan for their lives, who lived to share the goodness of God in the midst of hardship and trials, triumphs and comings home. Be sure when you see a Veteran, to thank God for who He created them to be. Without God on our side, raising up men and women to sacrifice in our stead, we wouldn’t have the freedom to live free.
Closing out our first trimester means all work needs to be turned in on time. Please be sure to check Fastdirect for any missing work. Send me an email if you are uncertain about things outstanding.
Thank you for treating the end of each week as a special moment for your Fourth Grader. This coming Friday IS STARBUCKS MODE FRIDAY. I am certain this is the favorite day of the week, so if you would like to send a healthy snack: veggies, fruit, or smoothies, please do! We enjoy our time in the afternoon, working independently while we listen to instrumental music and enjoy a snack.
Hello St. Paul Parents,
It's that time of year again… time for the annual COOKIE WALK! Planning is well underway for the St. Paul Cookie Walk, being held on Saturday, December 7th. As you may know from previous years, our Cookie Walk is a huge deal to our school, the church, and our community. Historically, people line up early for the sweet treats and we look forward to offering this event to the community once again!
Some adjustments have been made, so be sure to check details as they come out . We will soon be sending information to all families about needed cookies, candy, and treat donations. So, watch for the packet to come home with your child in the coming days!
We are also asking that you consider volunteering your time to help the event run smoothly. We are using SignUp.com to manage the volunteer spots. Please take a look at the link below to read about what positions we need help with and consider signing up for a spot. We have a lot of fun and take pride in being a part of a cherished community event!

We need to learn our lines for our Christmas service as well as the verses to the songs we are singing. I will assign parts on Tuesday and your child will have their parts highlighted in their TAKE HOME FOLDER. Please RETURN IT TO SCHOOL DAILY so we can work on our program often.
Tues: Luther’s Morning Prayer I thank you my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger. And I pray that you would keep me this day also, from sin and every evil, that all my doings in life may please you. For into your hands I commend myself, my body and soul and all things. Let your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.
Fri: Luther’s Evening Prayer (we say this together every afternoon. They will say this together as a class)
This weekend is another perfect opportunity to set yourself up for successful worship and a blessed school year. I understand travel plans may be on your schedule, but please remember about worship. It is critical to your eternity and important for you and your family’s spiritual growth. I would love to have the honor of worshiping alongside you and your family.
