Week of 3/31

Wow! What a beautiful week of restoration, slow pace, and time away with family. I don’t know about you, but I enjoyed ALL.THE.MOMENTS. Fortunately, spring is coming, which means several church and school activities on the horizon!!

A couple of items to mention:

Madison Field Trip:  Our class trip to Madison will take place on April 3. Our transportation for the day will be a school bus for both students and chaperones. Please note we are leaving the school parking lot PROMPTLY at 8AM. You can arrive as early as 7:45 to our classroom where we will have designated coolers for our lunches to be placed. Plan on arriving back to St. Paul between 4 and 4:30PM. We will not be back before the end of the school day.

Chapel offerings this month: Journeys Lutheran School is a unique school located south of the Milwaukee area. Journeys is unique because it provides quality education for children with learning difficulties in a Lutheran school environment.  Their staff is trained, experienced, and equipped to guide and teach students with learning difficulties such as ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, Autism spectrum, Behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, sensory disorders, and more. They provide special programs, small class sizes, a tailored curriculum, and a place to belong.

Memory Work: Tue 4/1: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. What does this mean? I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them.

Fri 4/4: John 8:47  Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.

The spelling test is on Friday and the list follows the latin roots- gener, port, dur, ject:

Generous, generic, general, portable, transport, passport, duration, durable, endure, projector, objection, trajectory

As always, there are many perfect opportunities to set yourself up for successful worship.

It is essential for your eternity and important for you and your family’s spiritual growth. I would love to have the honor of worshiping alongside you and your family. Wednesday midweek services also feature a meal! Come sit and refuel as a family and don’t worry about the clean up!
