Writing
- Writing: We developed a constructive response to themes in our novel Echo prior to break, and the final copy will be due early this week.
- Patterns of Power: We’re working with adjective clauses, specifically those that begin with who. We’re also understanding why those clauses can either be essential or nonessential. That’s important as the purpose of the clause determines whether or not a comma is needed. Students who use these clauses and the correct punctuation are often recognized as simply brilliant (at least by their English teachers! :).
