March 31 - April 4, 2025 "Creepy Crawly Creatures"
We will begin a two-week unit on Creepy Crawly Creatures this week! We will practice the letter “A” for ants in our letter journals and learn about ants, bees, flies and mosquitos and how God created them with wonderful and different mouths to eat with. We will have fun trying to eat like they do with special activities during our snack time. To help us remember some important facts, we will make a book to help recognize the different insects as well as the special mouths that God gave them. We will also create a buzzing mosquito that we will display at the World of Discovery Fair this weekend held in the Family Life Center. Our Bible lesson will be Jesus Calms the Storm from Matt. 8:23-27. We will talk about how Jesus is God and has power over storms. He wants us to talk to Him when we are in trouble or afraid.
On Thursday April 10th, St. Paul will be hosting our Family Literacy Night! Your family is invited to attend “Game Night” and interact through various games and activities throughout the school. Watch for more details through the Echo.
We will be having an Easter Hunt on Wednesday April 16th and Thursday April 17th. The children will be making baskets and go on a hunt to collect different items that we tell them to find. Please watch for an email from your room parent regarding donations and snack. We will be asking for donations such as pencils, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, plastic eggs with toys or candy inside, play dough and other small items that the kids can find. Please bring in your Easter Hunt donations by Monday, April 14th or Tuesday, April 15th. We are collecting clean, milk jugs to make our baskets for the hunt. If you have any clean jugs, please bring them to school. Thank you for your help!
Please continue to send your child with a light jacket to school. We will be going outside each day weather permitting!
