Weekly Update

February 25th-28th, “Aloha Hawaii” 

This past week we packed our suitcases, got our passports, and went to the airport. We took a long flight to Hawaii. We had so much fun pretending to be on an airplane and fly to Hawaii. 

This upcoming week we will continue our adventures in Hawaii. We will be making leis and grass skirts. We will be doing a fun Hawaiian food taste test. Also, we will be focusing on our letter Ww. At the end of the week, we will be flying back home!

Planning ahead for March, please make note of Family Day being held on March 21st. This is a day where your child can bring a family member with them to spend the day rotating between 3 stations, having a snack, and going to chapel. Both the AM and PM classes will attend at the same time from 8:15-10:45. In order for your child to attend school that day, a family member must be present with them for the entire day. I will be sending home a form in early March for you to send back confirming if you and your child will be attending or not. Siblings are not allowed. If you have questions please let me know.

Please note the following dates on our calendar:

February 24th: No school, winter break

March 7th: Interest Day (Half Day/ No PM Class)

March 21st: Family Day (10:45 Dismissal)

March 24- 28th: Spring Break

Please remember to bring your show and tell (can be brought each day) and a snack to share(snack should be brought each day.) The AM class has 16 students and the PM class has 6 students.
