week of Feb. 25- Aloha Hawaii
This week and next we will learn about the amazing landscapes and animals God created in Hawaii. The beach, volcanos, ocean, sharks, jellyfish, shells, and crabs just to name a few. Our reading corner will turn into a beach dramatic play area with some ocean/beach books to look at while we enjoy the scenery. 2K will create their own beach scenery with some extra special flip- flops and . We will try our scissors skills to snip green paper for grass skirts and will dress a photo of ourself in that skirt and a Hawaiian shirt. The sensory table gets used for water one week and sand the other. 2K will make and use our beach balls too.
Jesus time: 2K will have a chapel about "erupting" with God's love. We will have a google slide show and give a thumbs up or down if the kids in the photos ( my own) are showing God's love. 🙂

snack and star this week: For the remainder of the year students can either bring a show-and-tell item during their week, or share with us a favorite song ( that I could look up on the web) and have us here and sing and dance to.

Monday Feb. 24th- No school- winter break
Friday, Feb. 28th- 11:00-1:00p.m. 2 Pre-K class meet up and playtime at The Spot in Grafton. Room parents sent out a little "invite", but thought I'd place a reminder here. The Spot is a nice supporter of our Pre-K program and now we can show some support back by using them to host our playtime. Hope to see you there! Siblings are welcome too.

Each Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m service with a meal in between in the FLC .
March 19th( M,W class) and March 20th ( T,TH class) 9:00-10:45- We divide and rotate between the classroom and art activity / game in the FLC . Then we have snack ( similar to thanksgiving feast ) , and close together with a short chapel service .
March 24-28- Spring Break!
