Week of May 14 Down on the farm
"Little learners have a farm E-I-E-I-O..." We will of course have to sing that for Down on the farm week, along with a farm animal version of "wheels on the bus": The cows on the farm go moo moo ... down on the farm. 2K will create a chicken picture that is laying eggs with their letters on it, make a tractor scene, and a muddy pig. We will read Mrs. Wishy washy's farm, and use the smart board to read Down on the farm. The sensory table will have some farm animals that are "dirty" and in need of a good scrubbing. We will make a muddy pig, while chickens are busy laying eggs that spell our name 🙂 We'll sing/play Farmer in the dell too and have friends come to the middle when picked in the song 🙂
Jesus time: We will discuss that chickens give us eggs and cows give us milk. God made those wonderful animals to do that. The story of the Prodigal Son will be shared in chapel this week so we will hear that Tuesday as well. A song we will sing after it is to the tune of Farmer in the dell

May 12: PreK Sings in church at 9:30am- that includes us too this time
May 16: Meet & Greet for Returning Students 6:00-7:15PM- visit with Mrs. Werner and get your summer activity bag. 🙂
May 23, - Last day of 2- Pre-K and closing chapel service(s)- with 2 classes this year we decided to run our final day similar to our 3 and 4K classes. We will have 2 separate closing services as follows:
a.m. class 9:00 service- arrive in classroom by 8:45 and then we'll process in and meet you in church. We'll sing a couple song for you, pass out completion certificates, and have a short Bible message. Its' a great way to end the year in worship together for all He has done for us and celebrating all your children's growth and hard work this year. Parents and grandparents welcome! 🙂 expected length is about 20 minutes. We can take pictures afterwards as well.
p.m. class 10:15 service- arrive at 10 once all are there we will also meet you in church and follow the same format.
